Isotretinoin 20 mg capsules (like Isotroin IP) are used to treat severe nodular acne that hasn't responded to other treatments, working by shrinking oil (sebaceous) glands to reduce sebum (oil) production, killing bacteria, and reducing inflammation. 

Isotroin 20 Capsule helps treat acne by reducing the production of sebum (a natural substance) that causes acne. This kills acne-causing bacteria and prevents spots or pimples from appearing. It usually takes a few weeks to have a noticeable effect so keep taking it even if it appears not to be working.

Isotroin 10mg capsules contain isotretinoin, a potent retinoid (Vitamin A derivative) used to treat severe acne, such as nodular or cystic acne that hasn't responded to other treatments. It works by reducing sebum (oil) production, decreasing inflammation, and unclogging pores. The medication is usually taken with food to improve absorption.
